Lorene Hodges, 87, of Elkmont, Alabama, died on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Eubanks and T. J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2010, at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
Born Friday, September 22, 1922 in Elkmont, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Wheeler Hodges and the late Florence Anna Biggerstaff Hodges.
She was a member of the Ardmore Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bobby Joe Clem and two brothers, Howard Hodges and John Wesley Hodges.
Survivors include her sister, Martha Smith of Elkmont, AL, a daughter-in-law, Sherry Clem of Elkmont, AL, one grandson, Bert Clem; and several nieces and nephews.
