Franklin Corbin, age 31, a construction worker, passed away suddenly at his father's home in Falls Church, Wednesday, May 29th, at 3:30 a.m. Born February 23, 1932, in Madison County, Virginia, he was the son of George T. Corbin and the late Eula A. Nicholson Corbin. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On July 28th, 1952, he was united in marriage with the former Miss Essie Mae Dean, who survives him with one son, Douglas Franklin Corbin, who resides in Luray. He is also survived by two brothers, Virgil F. Corbin of Luray, and Stanley Corbin, of Reva, Virginia, and one sister, Mrs. Bertie Burt of Charlotte, Michigan. Funeral services were conducted at the chapel of the Bradley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. E.W. Bradley officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
