Mrs. Giffen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and a pioneer resident of this city. She first came to Borger in 1926.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.E. Evans, Borger, and Mrs. Gertrude Deutman, St. Louis, Mo.; four sons, John H., Borger; W.W., Washington, D.C.; Chalmers, Watseka, Ill.; Bryson, LaFeria, Texas, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending, with the body resting at the Minton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Addie Giffen, 87, of 421 Coble, who died at her home Tuesday morning, following a heart attack.
Mrs. Giffen was a pioneer resident of Borger, coming to Borger in 1926. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James G. Glenn, pastor of the church, officiating.
Casketbearers will be John H. Giffen, W.W. Giffen, Chalmers Giffen, John H. Evans, Robert F. Evans and N. O. Bender.
Interment will be made in the Highland Park cemetery, under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
