obit.....passes away 12:40 o'clock noon Monday Nov 29th 1933 at his home east of Beloit. He was stricken with partial paralysis at about 7 o'clock in the morning while doing chores and in a short time the affliction became general and by mid morning our friend went to sleep from which he was not awakened. He suffered no pain and in passing from among us he left a wonderful record as a man, as regards to both business and social life. He was born June 4th 1858 in State Line City Indiana and 24 years later, he came to Kansas, eventually halting in Beloit in 1885. He engaged in farming and on Aug 4th 1887, he married Alice G. Record and subsequently raised a fine family of five children, who with his wife, survive him..........
