Paulina Jane "Mama Jenny" Blackburn McChesney (b. 8/1/1861 in Farmersville, Kentucky - d. 1/27/1944) Parents were Louis J. and Elizabeth Street Blackburn. Wife of Robert Hise "Papa Hise" McChesney. Great-great niece Richard Blackburn, the architect of Mt. Vernon.

Momma Jenny's mother died when she was 14. "She was under five feet tall and wore a bonnet" (it was said that she resembled Mary Poppins in those hats!).

Mama Jenny went to Bowling Green to visit relatives. While there, she was knocked down by a Great Dane dog, breaking her hip. She never walked again and was confined to a wheel chair for the 8 years remaining in her life.

In January of 1944 at age 82 she came down with Bright's disease and died peacefully at home in her own bed at her daughter Odie Grace's surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Princeton, Kentucky.
