The daughter of Howard Roop and Grace Blevins, she was preceded in death by two sons, Benny Roop and Edward Hamm and a sister, Blanche Powers. Survivors include her husband, Junior Garfield Hamm of the home; two daughters; one son; six sistersm; one brother; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Byars Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Hall and the Rev. Jim Lundy officiating. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence was in charge of arrangements.
