By 1878 the family had moved to Ohio. Patrick, known as P.L., may have gone to Oil City, PA before joining the family. He met Alice Virginia Hodgetts, of Allegheny City, PA and they married. A son, Patrick Fallon was born to them in Oil City, 7 Feb 1880, but passed the same day.
The next child, Mary Ellen, known as Blanche, was born in Cherry Valley, Ashtabula, Ohio where the rest of the Fallon's lived. The entire extended Fallon family picked up roots and moved to Graceville, Big Stone, MN in 1881 where 6 more children of this union were born.
In 1901 on a trip to Minneapolis to have Blanche treated for a tumor, the ambulance the family occupied was struck by a tram and several people including Blanche and her parents were injured. Sadly she died a few days later.
P.L., farmed in Graceville and by 1920 owned and operated the Graceville Livery. By 1924 he and Virginia moved to Los Angeles to live with their son Ben. It was here in Apr 1924 that Virginia passed.
P.L. continued to live with his son Ben until he became ill in Oct 1934. Per his death certificate: "Doctor attended the deceased from Oct 1-8th 1934. Last saw him alive on 6 Dec 1934. Date of Death 8 Dec 1934 Burial at Calvary Cemetary. Informant Joseph B. Fallon, his son."
He is buried in Calvary Cemetery with the love of his life.
