ADELE HASSON NASSIF

Adele Hasson Nassif, 37, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010, in UPMC Montefiore, Oakland. She was born July 4, 1972, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, the daughter of Mark and Gerry (Trush) Hasson, of Uniontown.

Adele was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg, and was a teacher in the Mt Pleasant Area School District. She received her master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She loved her profession as a teacher and cherished her students and fellow colleagues.

In addition to her parents, Mark and Gerry Hasson, Adele is survived by her husband, Halem George Nassif; her daughter, Megan Adele Nassif; a brother, Brian Hasson and his wife, Diane, and family, of Washington; godmother, Betty Nebraski, of Uniontown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will be private. Terence L Graft, funeral director, entrusted with the arrangements.
