Passing of a Pioneer.
George F. Terry, whose death occurred a few days ago at his home in Haven Township, was one of the early settlers of Reno County. He came to Kansas in 1873, first settling in Sedgwick County, and located in Reno, in Sumner Township in 1876, being one of the first settlers in that township. Mr Terry was an old soldier, a sergeant in the Thirteenth Indiana Cavalry. He had lived in Haven Township for fourteen years.
