Final rites for Mrs. Elsie Bernhardt Weiser, 37, were held from the St. Luke's Lutheran Church near Olney after brief services were held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cisco.

She attended the St. Luke Lutheran school in Young County. She had been a member of the Lutheran church for many years.

On 28 December 1944, she married Ben Weiser of Cisco.

Rev. O.H. Horn, local pastor officiated at the service in Olney, Cisco Lutheran Pastor, was in charge of the services in Cisco.

Survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Martha Bernhardt; five sisters - Mrs. Hilmar Braune, Mrs. Oscar Kunkel, Mrs. Hubert Kunkel, Mrs. Henry Siepert, Mrs. Grover Furr; five brothers - Louie Bernhardt, Johnnie Bernhardt, August Bernhardt, Jr., Oscar Bernhardt, Alvin Bernhardt.
