She and Hilmar Braune were married 29 October 1935 at Olney, Texas.
Mrs. Braune was active in the family farming and dairy business for many years.
She was a lifetime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and past member of the Ladies Society. She was a resident of Olney all of her life.
Survived by her husband - Hilmar Braune of Olney; one daughter - Marilyn Craaybeek; one grandson - Trevor C. Wilson; two sisters - Helen Kunkel and Ruth Furr; nieces and nephews.
