Funeral for Shirley Lentz, 43, of Danville will be today, Aug. 22, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Jackson and the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday night from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Ms. Lentz died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Jan. 16, 1961, in Cullman County to Cecil and Freddie Rooks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mikey Rooks, and a sister, Debra Hill.
Survivors include one son, Roy Harold Lentz Jr. of Danville; one daughter, Alexis Nicole Hill of Danville; her parents; two brothers, Gerald Rooks of Hartselle and Rickie Rooks of Danville; six sisters, Kathy Stewart of Vinemont, JoAnn Kelsoe of Danville, Rita Freeman of Moulton, Rhonda Wilson of Hartselle, and Christi Rooks and Shanae Rooks, both of Danville.
Pallbearers will be Brad Rooks, Anthony Kelsoe, Dustin Kelsoe, Johnny Lowery, Chris Hill, and Chuckie Cole.
