Ralph Conaway, 80, R.1, Arcadia, died Wednesday, Aug 22, in Tipton County Memorial Hospital.Conaway was born in Tipton County, Aug. 14, 1904, the son of Robert and Orella (Thomas) Conaway. A retired farmer, he lived in Hamilton County most of his life. He attended Arcadia Church of the Brethren.Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Mardel Frazee, whom he married May 25, 1924; three daughters and six sons; Laura McVey, Sheridan; Mary Kinder, R2, Atlanta; Rita Browning, Arcadia; Howard Conaway, Cicero; Paul Conaway, R1, Arcadia; Robert Conaway, Westfield; Richard Conaway, Zionsville; Jerry Conaway, Tipton; and Charles Conaway, Arcadia. There are 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.A sister, Irene Dunn, lives in Tipton and a brother, Allen Conaway, lives in Atlanta.
