John Eugene Conaway, 43, 5515 S. Western Ave.. Marion, died Thursday at Ft. Wayne Lutheran Hospital. He had been ill for nine months.
Mr. Conaway was a member of American Legion Post 10. Marion, and a veteran of the Korean War. He was manager of a Marion gas station.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta: four daughters, Sonja, Linda, Angela and Tonia, all at home: two sons, James and Randy, Noblesville: three sisters, Mrs. Don Kinder, Rt. 2. Atlanta, Mrs. James McVay, Sheridan, and Mrs. Gary Browning. Arcadia: five brothers, Howard, Cicero, Paul and Charles, both of Arcadia, Richard, Zionsville, and Jerry, Tipton; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Hartley Funeral Home, Arcadia Chapel, 120 E. Main St., Arçadia, with the Rev. Melvin Snyder officiating. Burial was made in the IOOF Cemetery. Marion.
