RONALD WAYNE HILKER 1957 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the age of 52, after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Andrea. Loving father of Nathan and Renée. Dear brother of Patricia (James) Stone, Diane Meere (Dave Gee) and Heather (Terry) Dietrich. Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Joan Fackoury as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Agnes Hilker and father-in-law Anthony Fackoury. Ron graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor's degree in environmental studies. He spent his career working for various waste and environmental companies, where he was well known and respected by his peers. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ron with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, November 6, 2009, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room immediately following the Funeral.
