William Tinney married Nancy Martin on 31 March 1864 at Cooke County, Texas.

DIED
W.S. Tinney of Elmore who died last Thursday was brought to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma last Friday and shipped to Markley, Texas for burial. He had been in feeble health for a long time. He was 73 years of age. His son, I.J. Tinney and several relatives and friends accompanied the remains to Markley.
