Mr. Paul S. Culpepper, 86, died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Starling-Hatcher Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Culpepper, a native of Lake Park, was an insurance agent for 57 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Uptown Kiwanis Club and Million Dollar Round Table.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Stevens Culpepper; two brothers, F.J. Culpepper and Phillip E. Culpepper, both of Augusta; a sister, Dorothy McMahan, Knoxville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ray Collier, Eddie Collier, Tommy Collier, David Chiera, Michael Balchin and Walter Worsham.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Uptown Kiwanis Club and GE Life Insurance agents.
