F. J. "Cotton" Culpepper, age 92, of San Francisco, CA, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He was born in Echols County, Georgia. Cotton was the last of ten siblings.

He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and played football of the University of Georgia, where he earned the nickname, "Cotton Express". A beloved grandfather, gentleman gambler and life-long Christian.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906. Arlington Burial & Cremation assisted the family.
