Anna Ruth Johnson, age 96, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Anna Ruth Johnson was born on April 17, 1925 in St. Clair County, Missouri to George Herman and Maude Smart. Anna worked in the cafeteria at Deepwater School and worked as a dental assistant for both Dr. Cull and Dr. Cowsert. Anna was a member of Northeast Baptist church where she was very involved. She loved sewing, tending to her flowers, reading, Esp. the "Amish Novels", and playing Skip-Bo. She also enjoyed buying homes and remodeling them. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; William Sperry Challinor, James Garfield Robinson, Claude Russell Johnson, and 8 siblings. Survivors include 2 daughters; Judy (Ronnie) Riecke of the home, Sherry (Keith) Ross of Clinton, Missouri, 5 grandchildren; Gina (Tim) Totten, Rodney (Shandi) Winn, Dawnde (Ken) Robbins, Chad Ross, Brooks (Kelsey) Ross, 9 great grandchildren; Nic (Reagan) Cauthon, Clayton (Abby) Cauthon, Gunner Robbins, Makayla Robbins, Jordon Winn (Caiti Kirkman), Danny (Amanda) Hartley, Cody (Chelcie) Kimzy, Noah Totten, Taylor (Bethany) Ross, 10 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other friends.
