Charles Robert "Bob" Duncan, 57, husband to Sheri Driskell Duncan for 33 years, passed away December 21, 2009 in Lexington. He was born September 22, 1952 in Fayette Co. to Robert Eugene and Geneva Updike Duncan both of Lexington.
He served in the United States Army Reserves, was a member of First United Methodist Church of Georgetown and the LFOF. He retired from the Fayette County Fire Department as Fire Captain. He lived life to the fullest and brought much joy and laughter to everyone he met.
Along with his loving wife, he is survived by daughters: Kimberly (Alan) Michalek of Dixon, KY and Keri Duncan of Lexington, KY; grandchildren: Abigail and Evan Michalek; brothers: Tim Duncan and Kelly Duncan both of Northern KY; nephew: Eyan Duncan; aunts: Judith Goodpaster and Mary Augustyn both of Lexington, KY and numerous cousins.
Funeral services are Noon Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Gallaher officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens with casket bearers being Mike Proffitt, Steve Goodpaster, Stuart Goodpaster, James J. Goodpaster, Don Walker, and Rusty Andes. Visitation will be from 9am until time of service Saturday.
