MRS. D. R. BLAKEMORE DEAD
Wife of Well Known Sangerville Man Found Lifeless - Funeral this morning
The funeral of Mrs. D. R. Blakemore, who was found dead in bed at her home near Sangerville Monday morning, will be held at 11 o'clock this morning from the Sangerville Methodist Church. Interment will be in the cemetery at Sangerville.
Mrs. Blakemore's death was discovered by Miss Fannie Arion, a member of the family at about 9 o'clock Monday morning. She was apparently sleeping soundly when Mr. Blakemore went to his work at E. G. Crist's store about 5 o'clock, and he was careful not to disturb her at that early hour.
Dr. W. W. Koontz, of Spring Creek, was summoned and made an examination of the body. Death spparently was without a struggle, and most probably resulted from heart failure.
Mrs. Blakemore was a daughter of the late John Cootes, and was sixty-three years old. She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church at Mossy Creek for many years.
Surviving Mrs. Blakemore, besides her husband, are two sons, Wilmer Blakemore, of Broadway and Eugene Blakemore of Baltimore.
