Mary was 94 when she passed away on Tuesday at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. Born to Valentine and Mary Anna (Werla) Ballweg. Mary was employed by University Hospital for many years, from where she retired, and later moved back to the Sauk Prairie area. Mary was a happy, giving person. She loved to walk, set puzzles and pick hickory nuts. Mary will be missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind a sister, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and her twin brother, Norbert; and seven sisters, Lenora Ballweg, Clara Pertzborn, Frances Ballweg, Amanda Speth, Genevieve Thiesen, Emma Pertzborn and Bertha Ballweg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. Norberts Catholic Church, Roxbury on Friday, July 6, 2001, with Father LaVerne Meier officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
