A service was conducted Tuesday in the Lambert Funeral Home in Roseville for Alva Ellsworth Stevens, 83, who died July 30 in Roseville.
The Middlebranch, Neb. native had lived in Placer county since 1937 and was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his daughters, Lois Leak of Loomis and Marilyn Purcell of Rancho Cordova, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
David Cutright of the Grace Lutheran Chruch in Rancho Cordova officiated at the service and interment was in Rocklin Cemetery.
