Jacob Veeck, 68, of this county, died Monday at an Evansville hospital. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ona Scales, Beason, Ill., and Mrs Emma Roberts of Evansville, The body was brought to the Koehler Brothers funeral parlors Monday Afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Folsomville Methodist church at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Jacob Veeck, son of Peter and Katherine Veeck, was born July 8, 1862. He was united in marriage to Nancy Lacer Nov. 4, 1886. To this union two daughters were born. Mrs. Veeck preceded him in death June 6, 1913. Afterwards he was married to Evaline Taylor, who departed this life Jan. 24, 1929.
When a small boy, Mr. Veeck united with the Methodist church, of which he was a member at the time of his death. He had been in ill health for the past two years. He departed this life July 21, 1930, at the age of 68 years and 13 days. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ona Scales, Beason, Ill., and Mrs. Erma Roberts of Evansville, and a brother, Peter Veeck of Boonville, besides many friends.
