Funeral services for Earl D Adams, 70, long-time resident of Center Point, will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at the Center Point Methodist Church with Rev Carl Taylor of Center Point and Rev Orin Lewis of Boerne officiating.

Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery with Masonic Graveside services conducted by the Center Point Lodge. Smith Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr Adams died Sunday in a Kerrville hospital.

Born March 18, 1892, in Kimble County, he had served overseas in World War I and was a member of the Junction Masonic Lodge. Mr. Adams lived at Junction and Roosevelt before moving to Center Point about 20 years ago. He was a rancher and employee at the VA Hospital.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Juanita Adams, Center Point; a son, James Sam Adams. Okinawa; five brothers, Mina Adams, Boerne; Dave Adams, Junction; Marion and Sam Adams, Senora; and T.C. Adams, Del Rio; and two sisters, Mrs. Herman Thiers, Roosevelt and Mrs. W.M. Hight, Austin, Texas.
