Last rites ror Mrs. Margaret Nance Jenkins, 74, of 601 West Seventh street will be conducted Thursday at 4 pm at Elwood Lane Free Will Baptist church. The Rev. Virgil M. Hailey of the North Kannapolis Baptist church will officiate in association with the Rev. Carlyle McDonald of Prospect Presbyterian church and the Rev. Frank Heffner of North Kannapolis Methodist church. Interment will follow in Greenlawn cemetery, China Grove. Mrs. Jenkins, who had been in declining health 11 years died at her home at 11:50 a. m., Tuesday. She was a native of Davidson county, daughter fo the late James C. Nance and Mrs. Nancy Williams Nance. She lived in Kannapolis 30 years. Surviving are her husband, James Henry Jenkins; five sons, the Rev. H. Paul Jenkins, J. Marvin
Jenkins, Glenn E. Jenkins and Holland H. Jenkins of Kannapolis, R. Fred Jenkins of Mooresvile; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The body will be taken from Lady's to the home today at 3 p. m., and will lie in state at the church for 30 minutes prior to the rites.
