Harold B. Clark, age 80 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7:45 PM. He was born in Cumberland, Kentucky on January 28, 1930 the son of William Bradley and Cindy (Morris) Clark. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1950; where he served as a firefighter in Panama. While living in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from 1956 to 1979, he was the owner/operator of International House of Pancakes in Sunrise, Florida from 1971 to 1979; later he was the owner/operator of Old Mill Donut Shop in Millville for 16 years, retiring in 1993. He was an avid golfer at Twin Run Golf Course, where he worked as a ranger for four years and was a charter member of Hamilton Church of God. Harold was an avid UK fan and cheering for them was his passion and great love. On November 15, 1952 in Cumberland, Kentucky he married Fern Sturgill, and she preceded him in death in 2008.

He is survived by two daughters, Diane (the late John) Neborak and Marcie (Daryl) Childs, both of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Amanda Childs, Johnathan Neborak, and Lindsey Childs; three great-grandchildren, Hailey Childs, Austin Childs, and Mya Childs; a sister, Monetta (the late David) Helton of Charlottesville, Virginia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie (Roland) Fields, Viola (Guy) Bullock, Christine (Ed) Palmer, Mildred (Wallace) Roberts, and Rhodelia (Frank) Morris.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Alan Weaver, Pastor of Hamilton Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, Hospice of Cincinnati, and Dr. Christopher Meier for their care and support.
