Mrs. Lamb died on August 2, 1970, in Ashburn, Georgia, and she was buried in Rainey Cemetery, Turner County, Georgia.

Last Rites for Mrs. Lamb, 81
A resident in Turner County for 70 years, Mrs. Ida A. Lamb died Sunday, August 2, at the age of 81 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Lamb had been admitted to the Turner County Hospital two days prior to her death.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 3, at 4:30 p.m. at the Amboy Baptist Church where she was a member. Conducting the last tribute were the Rev. Grady Selph and the Rev. Horace Holcomb.
The widow of Webster Lamb was the daughter of the late Henry Ambrose and Mrs. Mary Ambrose, coming to Turner County in her early childhood.
Family members that include eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren served as pallbearers, and interment was at Rainey Cemetery.
Surviving are her sons, Harvey L. Lamb of Rebecca, and C. F. Lamb of Rebecca; daughters, Mrs. Esther Mae Gilbert of Ashburn and Mrs. Minnie Lorene Brown of Cordele.
