DICKINSON - Alta Mae Johnson, 81, of Dickinson, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at her residence. She was born on January 1, 1925, in Stephenville, Texas to Benjamin and Ethel Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, Jack Johnson, and her son, Kevin Johnson.She is survived by her four daughters, Billie Matamoras and husband Ruben, Nancy Dailey, Jackie Taylor, and Sheila Bennett; her son, George Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Edie Johnson; her sister, Louise Woodard; her brother, Finis Williams; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service to start at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006, with Brother Vincent Circello officiating at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
