Elmer Craig, 95, who had resided in Globe for 69 years, died Saturday in Gila General Hospital.
He was the owner of several stores in the local area before his retirement. He was born October 1, 1886 in Rockdale, Texas.
Surviving are one daughter, Marge Tobar; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services for Mr. Craig were Monday in Pinal Cemetery. Miles Mortuary handled the arrangements.
