Last Rites Said For Mrs. Lenna Verl Beckstead
Final rites from Mrs. Lenna Verl Beckstead, 37, were held yesterday at 4 p.m. from the Globe Memorial Chapel. Bishop H. J. Pace, of the Globe Latter Day Saints Church, officiated.
Mrs. Beckstead died in a two-car collision Sunday morning near Whiteriver which also took the life of Mrs. Priscilla McGinness of Globe.
A native Arizonan, Mrs. Beckstead was born April 2, 1914, at Central. She resided at 645 S. Second St., Globe.
In addition to her husband, George Edward Beckstead, Jr., she is survived by two daughters, Margie and Marilyn, one son, Philip; her mother, Mrs. Charles Coombs, 620 Fegan St.; three brothers, Ted Coombs, Kansas City, Mo.; Dent Coombs, Phoenix; Max Coombs, Globe; five sisters, Mrs. Lena Thomas, Globe; Mrs. Lillian Thomas, Lake Tahoe; Mrs. Lillian Thomas, Lake Tahoe; Mrs. Vida Blaine, Globe; Mrs. Emma Welker, Phoenix; and Mrs. Nellie Beckstead of Douglas.
Interment was in Pinal Cemetery.
