Services for Max Milton Coombs, 56, who died January
7th in Gila General Hospital, were held Friday at Walker's
Globe Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Globe Cemetery.
Mr. Coombs of Central Heights, had been employed as
a truck driver for Hagen Construction Company for 15
years. He was a native of Central, Graham County,
Arizona and had been a local resident for 46 years.
He was a member of the Claypool Ward, Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Knights
of Pythias.
Surviving are his wife, Veda Louise of Central Heights.
Two sons, Max Jr. of Phoenix and Thomas Leonard of
Globe. Daughter, Linda Goss of Globe. Brother, Dent
L. Coombs of Parker. Five sisters, Paulina Thomas of
Globe, Lillian Taylor of Camp Verde, Zoda Lund of
Arizona. Emma Welker of Pine and Nellie Beckstead
of California.
