Walter K. Ferguson, 77, of 223 Barnett Ave., died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Waynesboro Hospital. He had been in failing health since suffering a heart attack last July.
He was born in Washington Township, March 17, 1903, son of the late Milton and Laura Deihl Ferguson.
He and Mrs. Ferguson were married in October, 1927.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Gladys Tharp Ferguson, he is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Grove Sollenberger, Wayne Heights, and Miss Mirna A. Ferguson, Waynesboro. Also surviving is a grandson and five sisters: Mrs. Margie Stuller, a resident of the Colton Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown; Mrs. Tressa Morganthall, Rouzerville; Mrs. Mildred Shifflett, Smithsburg; Mrs. Emma Eberly, Baltimore, and Mrs. Naomi Cambers, Springville, Tenn.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, from the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
