Lillie B. ESTRIDGE, age 85, of Hamilton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at the Birchwood Care Center. Born in Red Lick, Kentucky, on October 14, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Alson and Anna (Scenters) Bicknell. She graduated with the Hamilton High School Class of 1941. On August 15, 1941, Lillie married her husband of almost 50 years, Earl Estridge, and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1991. Together they owned and operated the Estridge Market on the West Side of Hamilton. She was a member of the North Fairfield Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Ministry. Lillie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her three daughters, Gail Asher and her husband Greg of Hamilton, Joan Murphy and her husband Logan of Hamilton, and Kathryn Brown and her husband Gary of Trenton; seven grandchildren, Cindy (Chris) Theders of Hamilton, Ryan (Angie) Asher of Hamilton, Brandon Bolser of Hamilton, Travis Turner of Columbus, Gina Turner of Trenton and her fiancé Dustin Plowman, Trevor (Christina) Womacks- Bolser of Hamilton, and Tara Bolser of Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Theders, Christian Theders, Megan Lillian Asher and Brooke Asher, all of Hamilton; sister, Pauline (Red) Haskell of Hamilton; four sisters-in-law, Doe Bicknell, Vella Bicknell, Joan Bicknell and Rita Pence; numerous nieces, nephews, and many wonderful and caring friends. Lillie was also preceded in death by four brothers, Wilburn, Clarence, Roy and Eugene Bicknell; and two sisters, Francis Rose and Retha Butler. The family would like to extend gratitude for the care received at Mercy South Hospital and Birchwood Care Center. Funeral services will be held at the North Fairfield Baptist Church, 6853 Gilmore Road, Hamilton, at 2pm on Monday, August 21, 2006, with Pastor Mark E. Wilson and Pastor Robert Skirvin officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends and family will be received at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, on Sunday from 4-7pm. The family suggests memorial contributions to North Fairfield Baptist Church Building Fund, 6853 Gilmore Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
