Margaret May Brady was the daughter of George Brady and Melvinia Cheadle Brady. Her paternal grandparents were James Brady and Lois Ann Hake Brady.

Margaret married Floyd Headding on 14 March 1942. Floyd was born on 19 November 1919 in Buffalo, Oklahoma and died on 25 December 2008 in Yakima, Washington. He was the son of George and Myrtle Wildhaber Headding.

Union Gap - Margaret M. Headding, 75, of Zillah, died Friday, January 20, 1995 at Parksided Nursing Care Center in Union Gap after an extended and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 39, 1919 in Shelton, Washington to George & Ella (Cheadle) Brady and spent all of her life in the Yakima Valley. She married Floyd (Peter) Headding on March 14, 1942 in Tacoma, WA. They were married for 52 years. She and her husband enjoyed their home and loved working in their yard and garden together. She loved her family and freinds. Margaret always loved going to their cabin on the Klickitat River.

She was a member of the Buena Baptist Church and surrently was treasurer of the Sugar Bowl Sams Camping Club and president of the Buena Women's Club. Margaret was also a past member of the Buena Loop Club and past member of the Buena Library Board.

She is survived by her husband Floyd (Peter) of Buena; one daughter, Betty and husband Lee La Roche of Toppenish; a brother George Brady and his wife Brenda of Pateros, WA; as sister, Lois Swartz and her husband Wilton of Renton, WA; and three grandchildren, Lisa and Sean La Roche of Toppenish and Todd La Roche and his wife Debra of Yakima; two great-grandchildren Matthew and Megan La Roche of Yakima.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents George and Ella Brady of Buena in 1980 and 1981.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 25, 1995, 12 noon at Langevin - Mussetter Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Zillah Cemetery.
