COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Central Baptist Church for Marvin Cherry, 58, who died in Memorial Hospital here Monday after being in poor health for several months.
Burial will be in Dorn Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Born March 7, 1907 in Franklin County, he came to Mitchell County in 1924 and married Nettie Iglehart in 1926.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. E.J. Lelek, Mrs. Lee A Matlock, Mrs. V.W. Matlock all of Colorado City and Mrs. F. L Hubbard of Westbrook; five brothers, H. Cherry of Colorado City, Temple of Hedley, Noel of Phoenix, Arizona, Ray of Clyde, and Barnett of Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs. Mary King of Talco, Mrs. Allie Stinson of Mount Vernon and Mrs. Ellie Iglehart of Colorado City; and 12 grandchildren.
