Mimey traveled with her parents and sisters from London to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1883.
Mimey married: (1) in about 1896 a Mr. Miller with whom she had a daughter, Edna; (2) Mr. Collier in May 1909; and (3) George Walker in about 1915.
Mimey's father, Robert Debnam, moved into the Walker's Centralia home in Oct 1927. He died there in 1931.
Miey died in Centralia on 2 Feb 1976. Her obituary follows:
MIMEY WALKER
A resident of Chehalis since 1920, Mimey Walker, 98, died monday in a Centralia hospital.
She was born November 14, 1877 in London England. She was one of the founders of the Lewis County Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband George, who was the founder of the Southwest Washington Fair.
Mrs. Walker is survived by one daughter, Edna Leggett, of Barien, Wash.
Services will be held Wednesday, 3 p.m., at the Claquato Cemetery with Dorothy Parker officiating.
