On September 29, 1933 he was united in marriage to Francis Marshall by Rev. Forrest A. Moore at the Methodist parsonage in Columbia, Iowa and they made their home on a farm not far from Mr. Sheeler's birth place.
Surviving are his wife of Otley; two sisters, Bessie and Algie Sheeler of Monroe; one niece, Mrs. Francis (Esther) Reilly, one grand-niece, Mrs. Stanley (Darlene) Fox and Darrell and Ann Fox of Sheldon.
Preceding him in death were four brothers, George, Harry, Frank and Fred; and one sister, Rosa May.
Funeral services were held at the Crumpacker Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 9, with the Rev. James V. Paulson of the Monroe and Tool's Chapel charge officiating.
Mrs. Thelma Lewis was the soloist. Pallbearers were Arthur Beyer, Jake Rozendaal, John Kuening, James Stines, John Nolin and Dale McConeghey. Mrs. Dale McConeghey and Mrs. Orville Kaldenberg were in charge of flowers.
Interment was made at Monroe Silent City.
