Hobert H. Cooper
Hobart Harold Cooper, 73, Wichita, formerly of Hutchinson, died Tuesday. Born Sept. 27, at Jefferson County, Missouri, he married Lauda [sic] Smith Feb. 15, 1931, at Sylvia. Cooper worked as a maintenance man in the motel business before retiring. He lived in Hutchinson for 28 years before moving to Wichita 22 years ago.
Survivors: widow, of the home; sons: Gary, Casper, Wyo., ; Jack, Lincoln, Neb.; brother: Bill, Tulsa; sisters: Blanche Derringer, Coffeyville; Hazel Perkins, Morris, Okla.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel at Wichita. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
[Note: He was cremated at Resthaven but not buried there. Burial of his wife, Luada (Smith) Cooper, who died 6/2/1995 is unknown.]
