Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 4, at the funeral home.
Mr. Price was born March 21, 1917 in Lamar County to Joseph Oscar and Florence Epps Deweese Price.
He served in the US Army during WW II.
On Aug. 18, 1951 he married Eva Merle Warren.
He worked for the Lamar Creamery and the Dr. Pepper Bottling Co.
From 1963 to 1980, he owned and operated the Price Grocery Store in Novice.
He was a Mason and member of the Novice Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eva on January 2, 1990; three brothers, Dick Price, Charles Worth Price and Gibbons Price (died as infant); one sister, Mary Price.
Survivors include a daughter, and husband of Paris; son, and wife of Honey Grove; three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, his twin brother, sister, numerous nieces and nephews.
