Mr. Bonar was born at Blue Rock, the son of Uriah and Margaret (Welsh) Bonar and lived practically his entire life in that section. He was a member of the Blue Rock U. B. Church.
For 30 years he was employed at Frick Company as fireman. Surviving are his wife, Melinda Kauffman Bonar: these children: Mrs. Percy Stoops, Cloyd, Mrs. Harry Stauffer, Melvin, and Mrs. Clayton Cole, all of Waynesboro, Route 1; 47 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was the last of his
family.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p m. Friday from the Grove Funeral Home In charge of the Rev. N. W. Brechbiel. Burial will be made in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 until 9 p m. Thursday at the funeral home.
