Anita Mae Jubo Spiker, 89, of Tifton, formerly of Orlando, Fla., and Baltimore, Md., died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Tift Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Valdosta. The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Born on Sept. 15, 1917, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Pete Jubo and May Hass [sic Haas] Jubo, Mrs. Spiker was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Alfred Spiker, and two sisters.

Mrs. Spiker had lived in Tifton for seven years and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren and cooking.

Mrs. Spiker is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Roy and Dixie Spiker of Adel, Don and Joan Spiker of Easton, Md., Van and Linda Spiker of Newport News, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Aidmore Children's Center in Conyers. Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors, Tifton.
