Died, at his home fifteen miles northeast of Cimarron, Wednesday, May 21, 1902, Francis Kincade, aged 57 years, one month and ten days. The deceased was born in Ohio April 11, 1845. He served in the union army in company I, One Hundred and Twenty-third Indiana Volunteers. He came to Kansas in 1876, and a few years later to Gray county, and was a good citizen. He was a member of the Methodest [sic] Church. Funeral services were held at the late home of the deceased Friday at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Gross, of this city, after which the remains were brought to the city cemetery and interred under the rites of the Grand Army of the Republic.
