"Edward William Braby, 74, died May 23, 1981 at home, of a heart attack.

Born August 20, 1906 in Salt Lake City to Edward William and Lillian May Gamble Braby. Married Jessie May George on August 8, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Former owner of Fogg and Braby Furniture, retired salesman, Barwick and Company Wholesale Furniture. Active member of the LDS Church, South Cottonwood 13th Ward, Secretary of High Priest's Quorum. Currently serving on Temple Square mission with his wife. Served three full time missions, Central States as a young man, Florida South, Honolulu, Hawaii, with his wife.

Survivors: Wife, Salt Lake City; sons and daughter, Lawrence E., Chattam, New Jersey, David G., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Phil (Linda) Richins, Murray; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Larson, Jean McDaniel, Mrs. Irvin (May) Nydegger, all Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Wade.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12:30 p.m., South Cottonwood 13th Ward, 5235 South Wesley Road. Friends may call Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Church one hour prior to services."
