Cecil H. Knight,71, of Miami, OK died Wednesday February 3, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Knight was born October 23, 1938 in Welch, OK to Lloyd and Loretta Emma (Hood) Knight.
He had lived in the Welch, Miami area all his life.
He served in the U. S. Army and was a Farmer and a Truck Driver retired in 2005.
He was a member of the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Mickey J. Knight, 2 brothers Zeke Knight and Henry Knight and a sister Elizabeth Knight.
He Married Charlotte Pollan on January 7, 1964 in Columbus, Ks and she survives of the home.
Additions Survivors includes: 3 Daughters and Their Husbands Michele and Robert Jones of Miami, OK Adonna and Tommy Vardeman of Rogers, Arkansas Kristy and Don Sime of Manteca, Ca Brother Henry Knight of Austin, TX Sister Mary Anderson of Tulsa, OK Grandchildren Chesley and Joseph Edmondson, Cory Jones, Luke and Tommy Cecil Vardeman III, Daniel See, Nicole See, Jessica See
Funeral Services will be Saturday February 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, OK. Rev. Clifton Edmondson and Rev. Randy Baldridge will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Edmondson, Ryan Rathjen, Cory Jones, Larry Pannell, David Pannell, Steve Rathjen, Craig Litle and Robert Barger.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Pollan, Bob Kropp, Don Kropp, Rob Mathis, Gary Reynolds, Dan Pease, George Hood, Jimmy Hood, Bud Armstrong, Gary Channey, Gary Griggs, Darrell Vanpool, Larry Davis and Jim Rathjen.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, OK.
Interment will be in Pollen Cemetery east of Grove, OK.
The Services are under the directions of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami, Ok.
