HINSDALE - Esmond H. Vanderhoef, 93, of Hinsdale, a longtime farmer/rancher and heavy construction worker, died of natural causes Sunday at a Glasgow hospital.
His services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hinsdale Legion Hall, with burial of ashes at Hillview Cemetery in Hinsdale. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include brothers Doran Vanderhoef of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Berlyle Vanderhoef of Boise, Idaho, and Aloysious Vanderhoef of Myrtle Point, Ore.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Christensen) Vanderhoef, on March 11, 1994; and a daughter Judith Vanderhoef on Jan. 9.
