Larry L. Kane of West Chester

Larry L. Kane, 72, of West Chester, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Chester County Hospital.
He was the husband of Barbara A. McDevitt Kane and the late Carolyn Wilson Kane.
Born in Lebanon, Ohio, he was the son of the late Hugh Kane and A. Faye Buck Kane.
Larry served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged as a master sergeant.
He was a director with Conrail for 33 years. After he retired, Larry worked at AIT in Essington, and was co-owner of QTS in West Chester.
He graduated from Kings Mills High School in Ohio.
Larry was a 32nd-degree Mason.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Kimberlee S. Kane-Gentile of Ormond Beach, Fla.; son, Scott M. Kane of Prairie Village, Kan.; daughter, Karen M. Kane of Coatesville; granddaughter, Miranda R. Duart of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn Duart, Kayla Duart and John Duart. He is also survived by a brother, Maurice Kane of Phoenix, Ariz.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a son, the late Steven K. Kane; sister, the late Marlene Coffey; and a grandson, the late Jason M. Graham.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, 610-696-1181, www.drsfh.com.
Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
