Ruth A. Henderson, 100, formerly of Kittanning, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Armstrong County Health Center, Kittanning. She was born Sept. 30, 1907, in West Franklin Township, a daughter of the late Robert S. Noble and Alberta E. Patton Noble. She was raised in Slate Lick, graduated from Kittanning High School in 1926 and lived all of her adult life in Kittanning. Ruth was a homemaker and was also a licensed insurance agent and worked with her husband in his home-based insurance agency. She maintained the agency for five years after her husband's death in 1968. She was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe, Kittanning, Catholic Daughters of America, Kittanning, Woman's Club and St. Mary's September Club. She was the wife of 34 years to the late Miles A. Henderson. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Henderson, of Kittanning, and Maureen Sagrati (David), of Harwick; son, Miles Gregory Henderson (Karen), of Meadville; and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two infant children; two brothers, Kenneth Noble and C. Dale Noble; and three sisters, Lois Wilson, Alva Arner and Dorothy Noble. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe, with her pastor, Father Emil S. Payer, officiating. Burial will be made in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Leechburg.
