Lorraine Barton, 85, of Libertyville died Saturday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville with Rev. Mike Renken officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery. Mrs. Barton was born on January 10, 1921 in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of William and Jessie (Carver) Kirk. She married DeWayne Barton on December 29, 1939. She was a retired secretary for Dexter Company and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband; three children, Larry Barton of Fairfield, Dennis Barton of Libertyville, and Carol Streed of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings, Annona Jones, Neal Kirk, Wanda Schramm, Allen Kirk, Norlan Kirk, and Betty Brooks.
