Ray Howard Bowman, age 81, of Elkhart, Texas died January 31, 2010 at Elkhart Oaks Nursing Center. Burial is in Muse Cemetery east of Slocum, Texas. He was born March 3, 1928 in Anderson County, the son of the late Joseph and Addie Leona Burris Bowman. Mr. Bowman was a ranch foreman and a member of the Muse Missionary Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Eva Mae Bowman; and brother, Ira Bowman. He is survived by his sister, Trudie Dunnam.
